Important Reminder: Parent/Teacher Conferences will be held tomorrow February 2, 2014 in Mr. Joe's classroom from 1:45-3:45. Please make sure you stop by because many of the grades that have been put on the report cards may not be the same grade that Mr. Joe believes your student has earned for first semester. We can talk about how your student is progressing in grade 4.

English
This week we will begin reading a new story in both English and Arabic classes called the Solar System. The story features information about the planets in our Solar System.
Math
We are going to begin learning about area and perimeter this week. See the pictures below to get an ideas of what these are and what they have to do with measurement.
Science
We have just finished up body systems. Next we are going to learn about the phases of the moon. Each day students for homework will have do draw a picture of what the moon looks like on their moon poster/journal.
